On the 5th, the reporter learned from China Sinochem Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sinochem”) that the 20% silicon content copolymer PC (polycarbonate) of Cangzhou Dahua, a subsidiary of Sinochem, successfully completed a one-time feeding test run, becoming another breakthrough after the listing of special PC such as 6% silicon content copolymer PC and brominated PC, filling the gap in this field in China.Silicone copolymer PC (silicone copolymer polycarbonate) is a copolymer PC of block polydimethylsiloxane during the synthesis process. By introducing silicone groups, the flexibility, low temperature resistance, synergistic flame retardancy, and fluidity of copolymerized silicone PC have been significantly improved.The copolymerized PC with 20% silicon content was independently developed by Cangzhou Dahua. It has excellent low-temperature impact resistance and synergistic flame retardant properties, and has broad application prospects in new energy, 5G base stations, electronic components, medical devices and other fields.It is reported that Cangzhou Dahua is the only enterprise in China that adopts the tubular continuous process method to produce silicon copolymer PC pellets.
